The Uttar Pradesh Police has doubled the reward for information on gangster Atiq Ahmed's wife Shaista Parveen to Rs 50,000. Shaista Parveen is allegedly involved in the planning and execution of the Umesh Pal murder case. It's been over a month since Umesh Pal was gunned down in broad daylight and the police are yet to arrest most of the accused in the case While two of those who were directly involved in the murder have been gunned down, but at least three other shooters remain at large.
