Andrius Žučenka, MD, Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos, Vilnius, Lithuania, comments on the efficacy and safety of combining venetoclax with cytarabine and actinomycin D (ACTIVE regimen) in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Dr Žučenka reports encouraging response rates, with a high bridge to transplant rate, and a tolerable safety profile.
