Prithviraj Bose, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, briefly comments on the efficacy and safety of bezuclastinib in patients with non-advanced systemic mastocytosis (SM), which is being investigated in the ongoing SUMMIT trial (NCT05186753). At a dose of 100mg, this agent is well-tolerated and highly active and is also being tested in advanced SM (AdvSM) in the APEX trial (NCT04996875).
